Amara Rymut, Vintage Dressmaker
Amara Rymut is a Pasadena-based designer. She has spent her whole life fascinated with historical and vintage fashion, and attended the Art Institute of Seattle to major in Fashion design in 2013. She is currently attending PCC to further her knowledge. Her mission is to help anyone of any body type to be able to find high-quality and well-fitting clothes.
Growing up in Madison, Wisconsin Amara grew fascinated with clothes from an early age. She began to sew doll clothes by hand after receiving a pattern book at age 7. At age 9 her grandmother gifted her with a portable sewing machine which allowed her to begin making her own clothing through draping and pattern modification. Sewing, construction, and pattern making are passions for her, and skills that she aims to perfect over her entire life.
